Stayed at Can Picafort summer 2007 and really enjoyed it. Its north east of the island below Alcudia so a good hour or more transfer from the airport. Theres plenty of bars and places to eat along the strip and seemed to be mostly visited by families, so we never had a problem with any yobs or drunks. I felt it was a little out of the way, and transport around would have been a little difficult if we hadnt hired a car. Beach was nice and clean and the sea was good for bodyboarding some days. Overall quite a nice resort.

Good family resort, very popular with the Germans. nightlife is relativly low key, but there are plenty of bars along the front. Try the Jamacan bar for cocktails served in perculiar jugs!
